• Follow this steps to play:
1. Choose a chord touching it on the Ukulele neck;
2. Play it as you would do on a real Ukulele;
3. Shake the iPhone to strum!
Start play immediately, choose among the songs already available tapping the song (note) icon.
• Follow this steps to program the chords on the Ukulele neck:
1. Tap the settings icon;
2. Tap the chord you want to replace and pick the new in the picker list;
3. Repeat the steps for all the chords you want to change.
• Follow this steps to program a chords sequence to loop in:
This function is useful to play your favorite song. You just need to program the chords, shake your iPhone and loop at time through them, tapping just a button.
1. Program the chords as written before, starting from the top-right of the grid, down for the column, then up again and so on;
2. Move the slider to fit the number of chords you want to loop through;
3. Finally, on the Ukulele view, touch the big metal chords-holder to loop through the programmed chords (showed in light brown color).

This app crashes every single time and is a waste of space. The people in charge have been notified apparently by the comments bellow and they still havent fixed it. Dont download! Its a waste of your time.
I expected this to be lame, but I figured...eh. Its free. If I dont like it, my kids might. Not only is it not lame, but it is one of the more powerful free instrument "play" apps I have come across. The chords are preset and programmable, and there are a lot of songs, current and classic, to chose from. Many apps would make you pay an "in app"fee for each song, but they are included.mIt is the best free uke app I have found. Some things that would make it awesome: (and I would pay for this, for sure) is if the tabs of the chords were included with the chords. I am a private music teacher, and teach mainly 2e (intellectually gifted children with learning or sensory deficits, like autism or ADHD) The iPad is one of my main teaching tools. I teach voice and anything with strings for 8+ hours a day. Tabs would make this an app I could include in my lesson plans.The other add on I pay for would be some kind of rudimentary recording tool, and a way to copy/paste or import/export recordings to/from the app. I know there are many recording apps, and many uke tab apps...it would just be good to have them both in the same app for a relatively low price.
